‘‘ superb serene countryside images'' - Lancashire Life, January 2006

‘‘ one of Britain's most promising younger wildlife artists…… a melange of images…….. rendered in Jonathan's exacting super-realist style. The text is full of interesting information, and the end result is a book that would make an ideal present for anyone interested in the British countryside.''

"Orchards -Through the Eyes of an Artist" celebrates the diversity and beauty of orchards in Britain. Featuring everything from rare beetles and livestock, to cider apples and perry making, the paintings in this book (over a hundred in total), have been inspired by personal research following my travels across the UK, from the heart of Somerset cider country to a neglected apple orchard in the south west of Scotland.
