The state of Goa, on India's Arabian Sea coast, is a birder's paradise.
A short winter holiday there with my wife enabled me to catch up some of the commoner
species to be found here. A selection of sketchbook extracts and finished paintings
appear below, some featuring in the Winter 2008/9 issue of Birds Illustrated Magazine,
where I describe some of my experiences in the field and the great wildlife to be found there.
